I currently have 600 download speed with 16-18 upload speed and they are charging me 115$ a month. It’s just me and my wife. I do play Xbox often and steam Netflix/YouTube TV. Did they sell me more speed then I even need or is that a good amount ? Keep in mind I also work from home so can’t afford to have barely good internet. Please share your thoughts ?
The title is so misleading hahahah this video is a joke
Maybe is Santa Claus !
But why does rebooting my router often fix the problem
So it’s mean nothing we can do right
Meh… just a bunch of excuses. This video was paid for by incompetent ISPs
Update all of your devices fam. I know, it’s expensive but necessary.
Generally, a great video, explaining the intricacies of how the Internet is shaped and how packets get routed.
But.
YOUR NEIGHBORS KID DOWNLOADING LARGE FILES WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR CONNECTION SPEED. Period.
Lowkey think my isp throttles at peak time because even close to the router it’s worse than school wifi. Sometime YouTube won’t work for hours.
Get gigabit(att, verizon, comcast, cox) get new router, get new cellphones, laptop check.
First, see if your router is good enough. Most of the times, the problem is your wireless signal from your router to your device (smartphone, computer, etc…)
In the majority of times, 100Mbps is sufficient. And then, ping (to measure latency) is the most important thing. So, take time to learn your network.
“Why’s the wifi slow!?” Resets Router box*
One last video before I go to sleep
The podcast version of this was more informative than the video…with actual data and resources provided…
So to stop buffering you got to take your neighbours down…
Si pero cada ISP te pone un CAP para que ande todo más lento
Wsj always make good tech videos
Fantastic video! Thanks!
Good explanation for all the cashiers at Roses out there in the world ty wsj
It's a past thing for most of the Indians thanks to mukesh?
just buy better routers and use better DNS like opendns 1.1.1.1
And this is why you use Content Delivery Network (CDN) so people use a data center near your website users! lol Like BunnyCDN (https://bunnycdn.com) or CloudFlare. But try to avoid Amazon AWS Cloudfront lol too much $$
Good lobby!
I upgraded from a $30 TP Link modem to a $180 Nighthawk and my speed quadrupled. Worth the money for sure. All my camera’s and Chromecast have no lag now
The general population got lost at :28
I guess I'm spoiled. I'm connected to the fastest internet provider in Canada. I never see the dreaded "spinning wheel".
Just said, why does Netflix have buffer, cuz traffic jams. Then says but Netflix doesn't have traffic jams.?
The Internet is not something that you just dump something on. It's not a big truck, it's a series of tubes!
In this video "Why you have the slow connection: maybe its wires, maybe its traffic, maybe its neibors, maybe its you, maybe its them. We dont know, we wont show data. Thanks for watching" ?
