  1. I currently have 600 download speed with 16-18 upload speed and they are charging me 115$ a month. It’s just me and my wife. I do play Xbox often and steam Netflix/YouTube TV. Did they sell me more speed then I even need or is that a good amount ? Keep in mind I also work from home so can’t afford to have barely good internet. Please share your thoughts ?

  2. Generally, a great video, explaining the intricacies of how the Internet is shaped and how packets get routed.

    But.

YOUR NEIGHBORS KID DOWNLOADING LARGE FILES WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR CONNECTION SPEED. Period.

  3. First, see if your router is good enough.
Most of the times, the problem is your wireless signal from your router to your device (smartphone, computer, etc…)

In the majority of times, 100Mbps is sufficient.
And then, ping (to measure latency) is the most important thing.
So, take time to learn your network.

  4. And this is why you use Content Delivery Network (CDN) so people use a data center near your website users! lol Like BunnyCDN (https://bunnycdn.com) or CloudFlare. But try to avoid Amazon AWS Cloudfront lol too much $$

  5. I upgraded from a $30 TP Link modem to a $180 Nighthawk and my speed quadrupled. Worth the money for sure. All my camera’s and Chromecast have no lag now
