  7. Also Raven is not human so there is no telling how old she really is. Starfire is not human. Beast boy, is he human? Also how many end of times are we going to see? Isn't Raven stepping on Hellboy's gig?

  12. I liked the show a lot too. Except for starfire. It is not (so much) that she is black, though they made beastboy green and raven grey, so why not her orange? And the hooker outfit is so weird. My main irrition is her writing/acting. She wakes up with no memory of who she is and what she can do, she still knows language and more or less how to act socially and how to lie aswell (she fains having been partying when the hotel clerc speaks to her) wich is weird. Then there's the scene where she is facing the mob boss or whatever he is, and she isn't scared at all even though the clearly are threatening and have guns – she acts cocky and mocks him for loving her. Yet in other scenes we see her beeing all scared and confused because she can't remember. Imagine you just woke up with no memory, would you go around acting cocky, or would you be more timid?

    I got more or less used to the hookker outfit and glitter, but the way she flip flops between emotions is cringy. She is without a doubt the weak point of the series.

  17. I didn’t need this to be a remake/continuation/ reboot of the 2005 show. I think the 2005 show is pretty good, I also teen titans go. My issue with Titans is that it’s unpleasant, the heroes are more violent and do more damage than most of the villains do, characterization wise they barely resemble the comic characters at all. As a DC fan this show freaking depressed me. The only episode I kinda liked was the last one, but that was ruined because of the ending where it was all a dream and the season ends on a freaking cliff hanger and none of the issues of the first season are resolved at all.

    I couldn’t care less about Starfire being black, I don’t mind beast boy being white, I don’t care that cyborg isn’t in the show. What bothers me is the tone of the show, they stupid pacing and how edgy it’s trying to be. This makes Batman V Superman look like The Dark Knight, I could take Batman Forever more seriously than this show and come out of it smiling.

    If you wanna like this show, fine, but saying that it’s objectively smart/ good/ better than the original or one of the best shows of 2018. You’ve either never seen the original show, read the comics, or seen this production team’s other shows.

    Go watch those and compare them to Titans.

    Also if you’re watching this for the first time: skip over episode 9. It literally adds nothing to the narrative.

    I’m a month late on this comment but Faith, I’m surprised that you have this opinion about this show. I almost want to do a commentary on this.

  19. IT'S NOT BASED OFF THE CARTOON ITS BASED OFF THE COMICS THE CARTOON ISN'T THE SOURCE MATERIAL!!!!! Phew, I'm sick of people hating on this show because it's not like the 2003 cartoon, but that's not what Titans is trying to be like. Its pretty faithful to the comics. Good video btw.

  20. Dick Grayson isn't a killer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus, Cyborg is going to be in the Doom Patrol show and the Justice League does exists in this universe given the most recent episode. It's also based off the 80s comics

  22. The problem that we have with starfire isn't that she is black, the actress herself looks like a decent starfire. But the producesers took a beautiful canvass and dress her like a cheap prostitute. Metallic dress, fur, perm and all.

  23. If they don't have robots advance enough to make cyborg as he is shown in teen titans OG. Then why didn't they just modify cyborg to be a super smart engenear type of hero instead of just throwing away the character. I mean they already turned a warrior princesses into a prostitute and a strong dimension protecting gothic heroine into a edgy teen who can't seem to use her abilities. I'm pretty sure cyborg can't worsen the team anymore then anyone else has.

  24. So anyone remember when in mlp starlight went back in time and there were all the different futures? And there was one where discord was chasing celestia and luna? That means celestia somehow managed to stop luna after she returned from her thousand year old prison. What I am wondering is what did she do in this timeline that she couldn't do in the others?

  27. The issue with starfire isn't that she is black. Its that the design look nothing like her. If gamora can be played by a black person and still be green I dont see how hard it is for starfire.

  34. Her being black is stupid. I'm not racist cus I'm black but throughout every show and movie showing the teen Titans she was orange. I would like if they used a white acter but gave her some orange make-up just to keep up the tradition

  39. Actually I like Teen Titans Go!, It just like SpongeBob, because I think you don't have think something so deep, just watch, and enjoy it. Like watching SpongeBob. Because I think Teen Titans Go! Is trying to be like SpongeBob, not a copy of the original Teen Titans. That's what I think
