让志愿者将自己暴露在COVID-19上以加快疫苗接种速度

  1. I’d do it, I’m a low risk factor and I’d rather be tested on than health care workers who are actively doing all they can and involuntarily getting sick

  2. @ReasonTv This is absolutely the best information I have seen on testing https://youtu.be/jjx3doSskbU

Please talk about types of testing, why PCR test have so many false positives the importance of not waiting until you need to be hospitalized to be treated even more so for the high risk groups.
I would love for more doctors to talk about different types of testing, benefits, and early treatment options. NY TIMES article talking about up to 90 percent of people testing positive carried barely any virus.

tests may simply be too sensitive and too slow to contain the spread of the virus.

  3. Seems kinda nutty to me that they are concerned they won't have enough test subjects to test a cure for a disease that apparently doesn't have many test subjects.

  4. I have the perfect fix for the worry of test subject spreading covid. Just make them agree to wear a mask for 14 days since masks totally work. 😛

  5. Human experiments = t4 program they are using under age children in 3 world nations, for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals gain, by bill gates foundation! 6% deaths by covid = not a pandemic!

  6. It's like a twisted version of the trolley car problem. The trolley car problem asks if you would flip the switch on a runaway train so that it would divert away from killing 5 people tied to one train track but choosing to do so kills a single person tied to the diverted track. The ethical dilemma is that choosing to flip the switch may save a n increased number of lives since you have only 1 death vs 5 deaths but you become morally culpable for directly causing that death. By refusing challenge trials, we're effectively choosing to risk high risk people who will likely die if they catch COVID and who will catch it if we don't develop a vaccine before we're exposed. The people exposed in challenge trials will be young, healthy and at a very low risk of dying even if they catch COVID and they will be given more medical care than normal COVID patients in the wild since, being a medical trial, they'll be constantly evaluated by doctors throughout the process. Most importantly, they're all consenting.

This is like a version of the trolley car problem where the train is heading towards thousands of people tied to the tracks and the choice is between letting it run them all over or diverting it to a track with a relatively small number of people on it, the small number of people aren't tied to the tracks and might very well be able to dodge the train even if it came their way (that is, they fit the profile of people who are unlikely to die of COVID even if they catch it and they've been given an experimental vaccine that hopefully keeps them from catching it). Furthermore, in this version of the trolley car problem, the people on the track you'd be diverting the train to are all screaming at you to please send the train their way instead of letting it hit the large mass of people and assure a higher body count.

  14. Would they need to infect people, if there was a raging pandemic going on? So there is not enough sick people to develop a vaccine that we desperately need to fight this raging pandemic. I hope you realize the dissonance

  15. I wouldn't do it personally, but I don't see any moral issue there if the people agreed to participate and they were told upfront about possible side effects and fail to cure.
